The Foundation for the Augmentation of African-Americans in Film (FAAAF) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation and professional honorary organization dedicated to the advancement and opportunity of African-Americans in arts and education in film. The Foundation’s corporate management and general policies are overseen by a Board of Directors, which includes several advisory branches.

The Foundation is known for its annual Black Reel Awards. In addition, the Foundation also conducts two programs, Reel Kids and the Producer’s Institute.

The current Executive Director of the Foundation is Tim Gordon. He is the founder of FAAAF.
