Since the re-launch and re-branding of the monthly movies series, in July 2015, FAAAF’s monthly movie series, “Uptown Saturday Night” Movie Ministry, has curated a collection of impressive and influential films which have generated plenty of interest and strong conversation.
This September, we’ll showcase the 20th Anniversary of the historical documentary, 4 Little Girls. The story focuses on the September 15, 1963, murder of four African-American girls in the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama. The film was directed by Spike Lee and nominated for an Academy Award for “Best Documentary.”
We hope you can join us for this extraordinary tale and stay for the post-film talkback moderated by ministry lead and film critic, Tim Gordon.
It all takes place at the Fellowship Hall at Celebration Church at Columbia, Saturday, September 9, 2017, beginning at 6 pm . . . hope to see you there!!!
